Serif and The Line Hotel is a 12 story mixed-use hotel and residential building located at the triangular block bounded by Market, Turk and Taylor Streets where San Francisco's Union Square, the Tenderloin and South of Market districts meet. The project provides a combination of 242 new residences and hotel rooms.
The Architects' design made GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) the best solution to accommodate the geometric shape of the building skin. The majority of the wall panels were Pre Glazed in Willis Construction's production plant. Multi-faceted skin-shaped wall panels were created to wrap around each of the inside and outside curved corners of the building.
